Letter to Shri sankaran

Dear Shri Sankaran,

Received your two circular-letters dated 13-8-63 and a copy of the Memorandum of Association and the Rules and Regulation of the Committee on the 16th of August, as expected.  You also must have received my letter dated 15-8-63 in due time.

Letter to Shri Sankaran

Dear Shri Sankaran,

A rough plan of my movements in Calcutta during the next 10-12 days is now almost ready in my mind. I have started meeting important people here since today. I hope to complete my first round of visits by Sunday the 25th. My next move is to address a Press-conference. Though I have not fixed up a definite date for the same as yet, I hope it can be conveniently held on Tuesday or Wednesday if Monday the 26th is considered a bit too early from the point of view of completing preliminary preparations prior to the conference.

Letter to Shri Panna

Dear Shri Panna,

You must have received Madras letter in time.  I presume you must have made all arrangements preliminary to the delegation scheduled to wait upon the Madras Chief Minister.

From this end I have tried to help you in a small measure by writing personal letters to Shri Sunitibabu, Shri K.C. Basu, Shri Ashoka Sarkar and Hon’ble Justice P.B.Mukherji.

Mind, this is a great opportunity.  Exert yourself and solicit help from all your co-workers.  Dr. Sujit Dhar would be able to do much if he is there.

Letter to Shri Panna

Dear Shri Panna,

Your letter dated 14-10-63 (but posted on 16-10-63) was duly received here on 17-10-63. I waited in vain for your letter on the 15 th and 16 th.

It is unfortunate that while I got Madras letter on the morning of the IIth you could not get the letter till evening. It may be that the letter was waiting for you in the letter-box. Your  letter has not mentioned whether the postal delivery was late or the home clearance was delayed.
